Our Policies

To provide you with a better experience as you participate in conventions and gatherings, you should keep these in mind whenever we approach you.


Data Policy


As a data controller,  Kūhaku Media reserves the right to inform its data owners on what we obtain and your rights as data owners.

Kūhaku Media obtains the following information following your consent

  • Your Photograph taken by our staff

  • Your Voice during on record interviews

  • The names of your social media profiles

Kūhaku Media shall retain the following information in its archives for marketing, archiving, and redistribution to the data owner. The following states your rights as a data owner:


Right to decline

You have a right to deny  being featured, interviewed, or covered by Kūhaku Media


Right to remove

You have a right to request the removal of any image from our posts when you think it violates your privacy, or security, or has featured obscene scenarios


Right to report

You have a right to report any Kūhaku Media staff wearing the Kūhaku Media identification card to any security of the premises whenever our staff attempts to coerce or force you into doing any acts without consent.


Right to limit

You have a right to deny Kūhaku Media knowledge to your socials or  deny the posting of your image. You also have the right to deny the usage of your photos or videos for marketing purposes.


Right to withdraw consent

You have the right to revoke any given consent to our staff whenever you think that your privacy or security is at risk.


Archival Policy


Kūhaku Media as a non-profit project shall inform the public on when and where the organization archives and publicizes its content.

  • Kūhaku Media shall provide the raw unedited image copies (.jpg) images in a dedicated cloud repository within 24 hours after the event coverage, wherein an announcement will be posted of its release to the public.

  • Kūhaku Media members is responsible to provide the RAW file versions of the photos (.NEF/.HEIF/.CR2/.CR3) upon request of the person featured for free.

  • Kūhaku Media shall store the photos in it's cloud repository for up to two (2) months after the coverage in name. The RAW versions will be up for two (2) weeks.

  • Kūhaku Media and its multimedia staff shall be made as an attribution for the photos available in the cloud repository.

  •  Kūhaku Media reserves the right to provide older copies of its coverages following a request from a person that we have featured.
